This website is designed to inform and provide interaction among the descendants of John Bennion (1786-1846) and Elizabeth Roberts (1790-1830) of Hawarden, Flintshire, Wales. Their four children who had posterity are:

-- Samuel Bennion (1818-1889)
-- John Bennion (1820-1877)
-- Elizabeth Bennion Davies (1822-1890)
Mary Bennion married Joseph Williams of Hawarden, Wales. They stayed in the British Isles to raise their family.
Samuel and John and their young families emigrated to the U.S.A. in the 1840's. As early Mormon Pioneers, they
crossed the Great Plains and arrived in the Valley of the Great Salt Lake in October, 1847, where they settled and raised their families.
Elizabeth Bennion married Thomas Davies of Wales. They came to the U.S.A. in the 1850's, changed their family name to Davis,
and settled in the mid-west. It is now estimated that there are more than 40,000 descendants of John Bennion (1786) and Elizabeth Roberts (1790).
